Using flex for my java web application
Hi,
I have developed a web application using Java which currently runs on tomcat and uses echo2 web framework and hibernate for data access. I find flex's visual appeal to be good and would like to use it for my front-end. However, the technical aspects of flex-java integration is not quite clear.
First, I am using a third-party library that will automatically generate UI from java beans. Further, it is possible the name and location of the java beans and also other java files and resources may not be known to the application beforehand. I use a custom classloader to load these files. Can I do the above with flex and spring.
I also have a wizard component in my application that is really good. So I would not want to move to another framework unless it provides me with an equally good or even better wizard component.
I am looking forward to some helpful replies so I can take a look at using flex to build my application.
cheers,
