    Default CloudFoundry upload stuck

We are using cloudfoundry to deploy grails app in the cloud. It's been working great. Yesterday we tried to update our app by uploading a new war. Somehow the upload is now stuck in 'Uploading' mode. Similarly the deployment cannot be brought down. There are multiple queued up tasks of 'Stop'. I logged into the instance itself and killed the tcserver but that made no difference. I even logged into the Amazon Management Console and terminated the instance it was running on. But CloudFoundry still shows it as running and seems to be still charging.

Is there a way to kill a deployment via command line?

    thanks for the help.

Default is this a overall problem

I just logged into another account I have with cloudfoundry and tried to upload the application ( This goes to a separate amazon account ) and app is again just stuck in Uploading mode. Is this an overall problem?

    Unhappy Same here

I'm having the same issue as of this morning. My last deploy was a few days ago, which went up without any issues. This feature has always worked for me until now, so I imagine that this is an issue with CF. Amazon is not reporting any issues with S3 or EC2 as of now.

    Default seems right

I think your right . I just created a simple test grails app ( nothing special in it ) and tried to deploy and its stuck in "Uploading" mode as well.

    Default Response from CF support

It looks like things have resolved for me. The app I uploaded this morning has now become deployable, and another app that I just uploaded went up without any issues. Here's the response I got from support (and it was lightning fast!):

"Amazon Web Services has been having networking issues through the last
couple of days. The problem you have seems to be related to that.

Could you please try the following:

    1. Using AWS Console or Elasticfox Firefox extension please see if any
unwanted AWS instances are running in your account, and shut them down.

    2. Retry uploading your application and launching a deployment.

    3. Please let us know if it still fails."
