Is it possible to redeploy the application without having any down time?

We are about to go live with our application and are looking for solutions for redeploying a new application without any down time. Does anybody know if this is possible?

In theory this is possible, in practice it leads to more troubles and issues that it is worth.

Do you know where I can find any information about how to do it (even if it's a hassle for now downtime deployment)? I think the longer we are live, the more crucial it will become that we can deploy without any downtime, even it's a lot of trouble.
