    Default mvc-ajax json conversion not working with mvc:annotation-driven in Glassfish

    The error thrown is:

    If the MVC Controller method uses @ResponseBody, handles conversion of the object to a JSON string, and returns that, would that work as a response to a jQuery getJSON call?
