I have been trying to figure out a way to create a java service which can act as a publisher and a consumer of a BlazeDS message-destination using the spring integration. The Flex side is sweetly simple;however, I have not found a way to do this with a java and spring. Is this possible or does it require the use of a JMS implementation like ActiveMQ?

The Spring Flex integration test drive has some great examples; however, none of the examples show how a java client could interface with BlazeDS message-destination.
