Need help with "properties list" command

The documentation is clear, but perhaps I am missing something because I can't get it to work for me.

Can someone please give me an example of how to create/set a properties file parameter in the application.properties file?

I have tried listing the properties using the following command:

properties list --name application.properties --path SRC_MAIN_WEBAPP/WEB-INF/i18n/

No luck. Help please! :-)

Thank you so much! I wanted to do the same thing and be able to put everything in my Roo script. Thanks for figuring it out and posting the solution. I couldn't figure it out myself.
