problem when using service account as ldapManagerDN in Grails-LDAP configuration

Hi there,

I am using LDAP for authentication for my Grails web app, and I am running into the following problem:

My admin set up a 'service account" to be used for ldapManagerDN, and if the service account is set up (in AD) to be able to log onto any machines, the authentication works fine. But if the service account is limited to only log onto certain machines, the authentication breaks, it throws a 522 (user not found) error.

can someone tell what I am missing?

or is there any other way to do grails ldap without using ldapmanagerdn
