STS and Windows Vista

Has any1 faced issues running STS on windows vista ?

I have tried all versions of STS uptill 2.3.1 with no success.

[I have uploaded the snapshot of the error i get]. Any help is appreciated.

The only way i have succeeded is to install eclipse and install updates on it .but this becomes cumbersome during every upgrade.

Nothing I ever encounter and have used STS on Linux, Windows XP, Vista and currently Windows 7.

I had some trouble with JDK 1.6 u18 but after reinstalling that those issues went away.

Find the log for starting eclipse (it is in the workspace directory) or try to get some more logging (I forgot the command/commandline parameter for that but it is in the eclipse docs).

I renamed STS.exe to STS1.exe and it seems to work fine :-). Just googled around and i got this solution.
