I have a methodology question about roo and spring in general. Why does spring break the config into multiple files for roo apps? What benefits does this provide (other than having a terse config)? Is it possible to configure spring to load 1 time via the the context load listener? Whenever I try to load the same config in the distbatch servlet and the context load listener, spring attempts to register all the configured beans twice. shouldn't the dispatcher servlet only load the spring config if the context load listener has not already loaded? If I am using a single spring config file Is there a way to tell the context load listener to start the dispatcher servlet with the appropriate mapping so as not to have configure it the web.xml? I am a little confused why the disbatcher servlet would re-register beans that were already configured by the context load listener.
