Hi,

Per documentation on the defect http://jira.springframework.org/browse/SPR-5213, the class cast exception while retrieving beans should have been fixed in 2.0.8.
However, we have 2.0.8 running in production, and occasionally we are still getting casting errors.
Anyway, we are planning to upgrade to the latest version (3.0.1), and I hope the defect is completely fixed in 3.0.1.
I appreciate your sharing if you have knowledge or insight on this defect.
