    Default Backing ApacheDS in database

    Hi,

We have a customer that would like us to store the apacheDS data in the database so they can use there normal process of backup to also backup the apacheDS user information.

I'm trying to export the data using using the apache-tools dump command, and load that into the database as blob so the customer will be able to back it up.

    I have 2 questions:

1- Is this the best way to backup the data?

2- Does anyone have an example of apacheDS configuration in the server.xml that they will to share. The setup that we have was in spring.xml. and when you I run the apache-tools dump command it asks to read the info about the apache config from server.xml.

thanks for the help in advance.
