Is anybody using DTP with STS 2.3 on Linux

hello,

Is anybody using DTP for connecting to Database and browse data successfully.

I am unable to browse schemas and hence data on Kubuntu 9.10,STS 2.3 Jaybird and Firebird. But with same database and Jaybird Installation
Eclipse 3.5 is working as expected.

it might be that STS is missing some pieces of DTP. Can you let me know what distribution of Eclipse you are using that works with your DB setup?

I can then take a look what is missing if anything in STS.

Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers. Build id: 20090920-1017

I used eclipse-jee-galileo-SR1-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz D/L from Eclipse main site.

for STS I used springsource-tool-suite-2.3.0.RELEASE-e3.5.1-linux-gtk-x86_64-installer.sh D/L from SpringSource.

both are daily checked for updates and Updated if necessary.

Things I noticed on eclipse that SpringSource TC server is missing even if I put
correct STS update site and installed all components. But DM server is available
in eclipse. So both installation are have at least one problem to use.

I would like to use one IDE for coding and browsing schema/data may be
eclipse or STS. I would prefer STS since I get fully configured spring-java
development IDE and I dont have to bother for installing verity of plugins.
