    Default tc server license.xml invalid?

    Is the license.xml file that is posted at the bottom of the tc server download page valid?

    http://www.springsource.com/files/license.xml

    It appears to have expired:

    <license-expiration date="2009-12-01" key="4tkpSfFtyB+v8R2RRhQGYA=="/>

    I get this error when attempting to start the server:

    2010-01-12 11:35:20,969 ERROR [main] [com.hyperic.hq.license.License] License Error: The time-limited license for this software has expired. Please contact support to renew your license.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
    An update to this license with an expiration of February 28, 2010 has been posted. We apologize for the disruption.

    The correct location is <Server-home>/conf/license.xml

    Can somone at Springsource please include this license in the download bundle? This is a minor concern, but why would we want everyone who downloads the bundle to waste time figuring this out. May be its just me, but users will get the impression that the product is being neglected.

    Hi Sabarish,
    Fair point. We're coming up on the new release of tc Server shortly which will be integrated with HQ 4.2, and we'll see if we can address this for that release.

    Thanks for the input, we appreciate you taking the time to submit.

    Regards,
    Randy MacBlane
