Default How to view Grails source in eclipse/STS?

I would like to attach grails source jars in eclipse/sts. It doesn't seem to let me - this is what i see when i tried to fix this:

The jar of this class belongs to container "Grails Dependencies" which does not allow modification to source attachment on its entries.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

    zenmonkey,

we currently don't support attaching source jars to entries of the Grails Dependencies classpath container. Could you please raise a JIRA for this and we'll add this in the next release.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

In STS jira this issue doesn't have a fix version yet : https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/STS-669 .
Can you please fix this problem in STS 2.3.0.RELEASE?

    All,

I just fixed this request and it will make it into STS 2.3.0.

You can now configure source attachments on the entries of the Grails Classpath Container. The settings will be persisted into the .settings folder for your Grails project.

You can always update your STS 2.3.0 to the latest nightly snapshot from the following update site:

    http://www.springsource.com/snapshot/e3.5

This will give you access to the source attachment fix.

Let me know if that is an option for you.

    Cheers, Christian
