You can alternatively build the plugin yourself. Checkout the spring-surf source tree and build with maven.

Tried that, but maven was throwing a fit saying it couldn't find artifacts.

Make sure you have the latest maven, then try running.
mvn -U install
from the spring-surf root. if it fails on a test, run mvn clean and then install

Results from a mvn-U install then retrying the build of the addon. About to try the clean. Thought I'd post for records sake...

Fab, download link now works, but something fishy going on.
When following the install instructions at http://www.springsurf.org/sites/1.0....tml/intro.html
When I get to the mvn tomcat:deploy command, I get the following message. (The "Unable to find resource" error appears a lot during the process, too many to paste into the one post)

For you roo installation, have you install surf 1.0.0.M1 addon as well?
If that is the case, you may want to remove that M1 jar from the roo/dist directory and restart the roo.
Also you can check your project pom.xml to see if it is referencing to 1.0.0.M1 version of Surf.

Hi,
You may also want to redownload and reinstall the M2 roo addon zip from springsurf.org. We just posted a updated one over there.
1) Download http://www.springsurf.org/downloads/...-roo-addon.zip
2) Startup Roo and remove existing surf addon
>> addon uninstall *surf*.zip
3) Reinstall surf addon using the zip file you just download
>> addon install file:/[Path-to-your-zip-file]
Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you for using SpringSurf !
Yong
