    Default N00b setup issue

    I installed Roo, set my ROO_HOME variable and tried to run the "roo quit" command to test the installation. I get "unable to initialize threads class not found java\lang\String"

    I am using Windows XP, with JDK 1.5.0_09 (and JAVA_HOME is set).

    I've been working with STS without an issue. Any pointers as to what I am missing?

    Default found it - disregard.

    My jdk install needed to be 1st in the PATH settings...

    Glad you sorted it out. Can I ask what was earlier in the path? Another JDK? Did the path match the JAVA_HOME variable?
