Default sts 2.3 ubuntu 9.10 roo

    Hi

I have trouble getting the sts 2.3 to work properly.

I have now tried it on 2 different machines ( ubuntu 9.10 ) and the result is the same.

After have installed sts 2.3 I have downloaded the latest ROO version and want to use it.

I look in prefenrences -> spring -> roo support and find the newest version I have downloaded and it comes up fine.

But I can't accept it with the OK button, nothing happends, only the cancel button seems to work.

    jantzen05,

how did you install the Roo 1.0.0.RELEASE? Using the extension install?

What happens if you select another preference page and then go back to Roo? Is the OK button enabled then?

I used the package with the install script.

I see the same behavior when I try to import a existing project into the workspace.

    Carsten,

can you check this thread http://forum.springsource.org/showth...ghlight=ubuntu and see if the provided workaround helps?

Please don't rename the STS executable.

These issues are supposed to be permanently fixed in the upcoming Eclipse SDK 3.5.2.
