    Default About Multiple instances

Hi, I am developper and I am testing cloud foundry to get a idea about it.

When I chose a base multi-instances (1 apache, 1 tc server ² 1 mysql master without lave), I see 4 instance on my AWS console.
    So, I have :
    - 1 instance for apache
    - 1 instance for tc server
    - 1 instance for mysql

But what is the 4th instance ?
    Hyperic ?

And a second question about topology :
If I understand well, if I make a stress and weight test on my application, Hyperic should start automatically a new instance automaticly?

    Sorry for the delay.

I investigated the issue of the 4th server and identified a bug. That should be fixed in the first half of next week.

Cloud Foundry will autoscale your tc Server/tomcat instances provided you have enabled autoscaling at deployment time.

    ok, thanks for this.
I am still looking what cloud foundy can do.
I think I just found a graphical bug on setting the number of instances : when I exceed 9, I just see the first digit of my number, ie I see "1" instead of "10" or "18" by example.

I have another question about autoscaling : how can I configure the maximum number of EC2 instances ? I see the panel "Autoscale Settings" but I can't change : it's frozen.

Thanks for pointing out the > 9 problem.

    To enable autoscaling:
    * Select multiple instances topology
    * Click FIX for App Servers idle/overloaded
