Spring Modules replacement
We are using Spring Modules for JAX-WS & EhCache Façade in our project . We understand that Spring modules is deprecated after release 0.9 dated 06 March 2008. Springsource community is coming up with Spring Extensions. Few queries are regarding this are listed below:
1) What is the equivalent of spring modules (specifically JAX-WS & EhCache Façade) in Spring extensions?
2) Would spring extensions include all the tools/add-ons from Spring modules? What is the roadmap for inclusions / implementations in spring extensions?
{Note: In springsource sites, it is said that "Spring modules which are of significant interest and has active support from respective communities will be moved to Spring Extensions"}
3) Incase spring extensions currently doesn't provide the features of spring modules, what is the alternative avaiable? (a) Download and maintain spring modules code {OR} (b) drop off from Spring modules?
I am sure that other members would have had these sort of questions earlier, we would appreciate if anyone can provide us answers.
Regards,
Sudhakar
