Petportal sample for Spring 3 (and building the 2.5.6 version...)

Two things:

1) Is the Petportal going to be updated for Spring 3 any time soon? I can't find it with the rest of the spring 3 samples in svn.

2) I've got a rough maven build of the 2.5.6 sample. Should I submit a patch?

For whatever I opinion is worth, yes, I think you should submit a patch. I'm looking for the same thing.
