    Default Support for CloudWatch

    Hi,

is it possible to use cloudWatch with CloudFoundry deployments?

Is there any way to enable it manually on the instances after CF has deployed to them?

    cheers

    RTFM Lee...

You can enable cloud watch via the AWS console...

But I think an option on the Launch New Deployment screen would be a nice feature to have.

    Lee,

    I am curious.
What do you need from Cloud Watch that you can't get from the Cloud Foundry console?

    Hi,

well just from using the AWS console I see

    history graphs (configurable duration)
network traffic in/out (this is particularly interesting for my current app)

I haven't looked at the raw monitoring info to see what else is there.

CF gives me current cpu/thread/memory stats but no historical data - correct?

    cheers

That's correct. Cloud Foundry does not currently provide historical data, but plan to do so in the future. Are there any other features you need from CloudWatch?
