Question STS 210 SR01 - Live Update examples not working

I'm following through the tutorials on both a spring bundle and a regular bundle. In the ide ${osgi.console.port} is set to 2000. I can telnet in and get the osgi> prompt and issue commands.

I cannot, by following the instructions, get the "live update" feature of the regular and Srping powered bundle to show changes. Any changes to the code or to these bundles spring configs do not result in an update and refresh.

Considering that some there were missing libs in Target Platform set up for the other parts of these tutorials, which platform bundle controls this auto update and redeploy behavior?

Does it require some other kind of configurations?

If anyone from Springsource knows this, I'd love to get a workaround...the live update feature sure would make osgi dev much quicker and easier...

    Johnny,

you need to manually enable the "Spring Dynamic Modules OSGi Bundle Updater" under Preferences -> Spring -> Project Builders.

This has been disabled by default.

Thanks Christian...this isn't mentioned in the Dashboard tutorials.

I'll give them a try again.
