Default SpringIDE & SpringSource Tool Suite & Issues

Is the SpringIDE the same as the SpringSource Tool Suite?

I have been trying to find where to report bugs in the Eclipse STS, but have been unsuccessful. Surprisingly, I'm not a newbie, I just can't find it
No matter were I start my search I either end up at the SpringIDE or down a dead end.

Please can some one tell me if SpringSource Tool Suite is just SpringIDE renamed? and if not where on earth do I register issues regarding STS.

    Thanks muchly.

I suggest check the plugin list in STS.

Are they the same no. SpringIDE is the basic plugin for eclipse, STS is SpringIDE on steriods, better support, better integration and more features.

    David,

you can raise JIRA issues at https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/STS for both Spring IDE and STS.

Spring IDE is our basic Eclipse plugin and STS is our commerical-free Eclipse distribution with value-add features.

With respect, how am I supposed to know about that. There is no documentation mentioning where this issue tracker is. Why isn't STS's jira in with the rest of the SpringSource projects. The main springsource jira website only has SpringIDE?

Would it be possible to add a link to the bug reporting system in a standard place like: Help->About>Spring->About Eclipse Feature

In fact it doesn't have to be a standard place - anywhere would be nice.
Google couldn't find this web site, so I suggest that there is something wrong with your documentation.
