The server does not start on Linux

I tried the 2.0.0.CI-B350 on SUSE Linux. The server wouldn't start at all, it gets stuck at the java command launching the server.
The Linux version:

uname -a
Linux nygeqgd0018 2.6.16.60-0.31-smp #1 SMP Tue Oct 7 16:16:29 UTC 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The java version:

java version "1.6.0_14"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

The same build can start on Windows machine, though it feels much slower than the 1.0.2.RELEASE.

The 1.0.2.RELEASE starts fine on Linux.

Is this a bug? Is there any problem with the fact that it is 64 bit JVM? (On Windows I have 32 bit).

It definitely sounds like a bug. Linux is included in our CI infrastructure, although I don't know off the top of my head if it's 32-bit or 64-bit.

Can you please open a JIRA? It'd be great if you could include the output (if any) that's generated by startup.sh, along with the contents of the serviceability folder.
