Spring Security and CAS 2.0

Hi folks,
I have a question about CAS support in Spring Security...

In production, our customer uses CAS 2.0.11. Since we can't force upgrade to version 3, I have to know if Spring Security supports it.

The user manual states "Spring Security 2.0 supports CAS 3". Does this mean that CAS 2 support has been dropped?
If I can remember correctly, Acegi Security 1.x supported CAS 2, so it seems strange to me that this was droppen.

I tried yesterday afternoon with CAS 2.0.11 and IT WORKS!
