SpringSource tc Server Solaris GA Support Announced
We are pleased to announce that Solaris Sparc and Solaris Intel as GA supported tc Server platforms. Platform support details can be found at http://static.springsource.com/proje...gssupplat.html.
Solaris Sparc is being offered as a full stack bundling the tc Server application server, along with the AMS Agent and Server.
Solaris Intel is being offered as a managed node, which includes both the tc Server application server and AMS Agent.
Please note that the tc Server installation requires GNU compatible tar (as is noted on the supported platforms page linked to above). Also note that the Solaris Intel AMS Agent does not bundle a JRE, so you will need to point to a Java 1.5 JRE using the HQ_JAVA_HOME environment variable prior to starting the AMS Agent on Solaris Intel.
Keep an eye on the forum for additional platform support, and additional packaging options.
You can download an evaluation copy from http://www.springsource.com/download/tcserver, subscription customers should download from their support portal login.
Thank you,
Randy MacBlane

Difference in starting script
Hi,
Please update me the information below and let me know few admin documents.
What is the difference in starting/stopping script like catalina.sh,Startup/shutdown and TcServer-ctl.sh?
When creating an instance from a newly installed TcServer, the new instance does not contain any jar files and conf files. It depends on the primary TcServer to action. Why?
How to rotate the log in the TcServer?
how to stop/start the deployed application apart from the manager console?
