Confusion over Current Production Release - 2.5.6 or 2.5.6.SEC01

Hi folks.

The Spring download page (http://www.springsource.org/download) currently states that version "2.5.6" is the current production release.

However, if a user navigates to the deeper download page (by clicking 'download' followed by 'download now'), he/she must choose between "2.5.6" and "2.5.6.SEC01".

The Changelog of 2.5.6.SEC01 mentions two updates, but does not clarify if this is a critical security patch as the version name implies.

(1) Does anyone know if 2.5.6.SEC01 is the current "prescribed" production release?

(2) In general, what is the most formal way of determining the current production release?

We just released the 2.5.6.SEC01 release and I have updated the download page to reflect that. There is an announcement that explains what this release addresses.
