Currently we are using jboss AS with spring deployer to deploy spring modules for multiple war's.

But now there has been thoughts to move to use tomcat, it is lighter and we do not need all the services that jboss provides. Of course, one way is to slim jboss. But one strong argument is terracotta, support for jboss is poor( for 4.2 -> 5).

I have been wondering and tried to figure out how to deploy spring beans(modules) to tomcat for web apps.
I have been checking out mule, servicemix esb's or terracotta for this, but not yet found a useful way. What I don't want to do is, to configure all the beans to every war.

Any hints?
