XML Stream 2 DB

Hi,

my first post - great framework!! Thanks to everyone, who helped in development!

I have a use case and I don't know how to do best:

- read data from multiple database tables and mapp them to (some) object(s)
- create a XML representation and write it with some other data to an other db-table

Is there anything in spring(-batch) I can use for the creation of the xml representation? Some hints or examples?
