Newly created project to be imported to Eclipse

Hi all, am very new to rich client and I'm trying to understand how it works. I create a new project with maven which builds up succesfully. Then I typed into the project dir mvn eclipse:eclipse which created .project file. Now when I go to import the project from eclipse (import->general->existing project ) it gets me only a lib directory containing forms.jar.
I did not understand why of that, any ideas
