How to set bridge server port to a system variable

Currently the bridge server port 40404 is set in server xml. How can it be set using system.setProperty and a system variable, i.e. server-port:40404?

Are you sure you meant to post this question to the SpringSource dm Server forum?

FYI: there is no "server xml" file associated with the dm Server.
