    Default SpringSource Application Platform 1.0.0.RC1 Available

    Congratulations!

    Some questions:
    - have you considered updating the Tooling promoted on http://www.springsource.com/beta/applicationplatform/downloads.php to an RC1 version as well?
    - is there any documentation somewhere concerning the "enabled tomcat clustering"?

    Regards,
    Kay

    Hi Kay,

    The documentation didn't quite make it into this release, but will be in there for the next one (RC2 or Final, depending on how things go!) The documentation is pretty minimal though; the parameters etc. are the same as for Tomcat, so we just point out where the config files are ($PLATFORM_HOME/config for server.xml to do most of the configuration, and ../servlet for web.xml to make things distributable if your app needs that) and that we use JSON, so the files look a little different.

    I'll pass on your comment about Tooling. Thanks for taking part in the Beta!

    Cheers, Paul

    @purplehaze,

    I've been able to download successfully just by copying and pasting the link you put into your post from both my house and my office today. Can give the link a try from another location and see if you're still having issues?

    I was able to download S2AP at home.
    It is enterprise proxi-firewall issue I think.
