    I'm pleased to announce that the SpringSource Application Platform 1.0.0.beta4 is now available. Please go to the Downloads section of the SpringSource Application Platform site to download. Please note that the distribution consists of two ZIP files.

    This release focuses on improvements for:

    * Configuration of Web-ServletContextListeners via Manifest Headers
    * Configuration of Web-ErrorPages via Manifest Headers
    * Load Balancing Using the Tomcat AJP Connector
    * Improvements in Tooling Interaction
    * Improvements to User and Programmer Guides
    * Other Bug Fixes
