Default Open Spring-Build System maybe a good idea

S2AP sample applications use a sub directory named 'spring-build'. Many Spring's projects use it. Maybe it's a good idea that the spring build system as a independent project or be added to Spring IDE.

Default Open Spring-Build System maybe a good idea

First, I want to thank you for your interest in Spring Build.

At this time Spring Build is heavily oriented towards building SpringSource Applications and Frameworks. Its requirements are driven by the needs of the company and as such, can change very quickly and potentially break backwards compatibility at will. On top of that, it is not designed to be widely extensible and so may not be suited for use by non-SpringSource projects.

At this time, we have no plans to make Spring Build a public and supported project. We will however be putting forth extensions for both ANT and Maven that will make it easier to build OSGi-enabled applications with those tools.

    Thanks again for your interest.
