Building par archives containing service bundles and wars

Hello,

is it possible to create a par archives containing service bundles and shared library wars?
If yes, what is the best way to build these with Maven?

I noticed that the maven-par-plugin (version 0.2.0) does not seem to support this as it gives the error
"Reason: Only jar packaged artifacts are supported"

Hi Eric,

Yes, it is possible to create a PAR which contains service bundles and shared library WARs. The S2AP fully supports this packaging and deployment option.

I don't use Maven or the maven-par-plugin. Thus I unfortunately can't help you there.

if you refer to http://blog.steademy.com/,
then your talking about our plugin.

As we do no longer deploy par's but only plain osgi bundles, I stopped working on the maven-par-plugin.

If your interested in an additional release, please leave me a note and provide information on what exactly is required by you.
