problem with schema base configuration

we have upgraded the spring version from 1.2.7 and already having transaction enabled services with TransactionProxyFactoryBean now with this existing services new want to add new services which are transaction enabled through Schema-based AOP(<aop:config> style) when i put below configuration for that i got error mentioned below it. any idea or clue will be appreciated.

Change you <aop:config> to <aop:config proxy-target-class="true">

thanks for your reply..one thing i really dont under stand is even if point cut expression is within(com.xyz.mm.service.communicatio n.communicationservice.*)"/ why it is trying to create proxy for ehcache classes... it should only create transaction proxy for classes within the scope of expression right?

Without proxy-target-class="true" it will try to create a dynamic proxy. The dynamic proxy class will inplement ALL interfaces that the target class implements.

I did post a question regarding this. It would be nice and sometimes even desirable to be able to limit proxy to some of the interfaces only.

Which would then change your object, because it isn't XYZ anymore.

You can do this however by specifing a ProxyFactoryBean and specify the interfaces to proxy.
