Is M6 slated to be released as scheduled , i.e Today ?
Will it include the FTPTarget channel adapter ?

The M6 release will be available later today, and yes it does include the initial version of FtpTarget. We will be adding namespace support with an <ftp-target/> element shortly after the M6 release, although configuring FtpTarget as a <bean/> is fairly trivial (2 constructor args).
