    Default spring-js jQuery integration

    Is anyone interested in jQuery integration into spring-faces / webflow stack?

    as far as i understood form browsing through sources, sf:* tags are tightly coupled with dojo framework.

    what could be the best way to integrate jQuery js library? could someone provide me step-by-step guide?

    Before it can even be considered for integration into Spring Faces, a jQuery implementation of the Spring JavaScript API would need to be completed. To get an idea of what is required, take a look here at the API and the Dojo implementation:

    Default Spring JS with JQuery

    @Jeremy Grelle
    I saw on a colleague's slides from Spring One that JQuery might be the next implementation for Spring JS. Is there any time frame on that?

    When I talked to you last year at Spring Experience, I told you we were very interested in ext-js as we use that at work. I heard there were problems for an ext-js spring js implementation because of the license. I have a personal project and chose JQuery, so I'm crossing my fingers. Given that JQuery is now going to be included on the Microsoft platform ( http://blog.jquery.com/2008/09/28/jq...crosoft-nokia/ ), it seems that it's adoption will only grow.

    However, with only tiles and JSF supported for fragment rendering, that's pretty limiting. I'm personally interested in Velocity support, but I'm sure JSP support would be your #1 request for views.
