PDF report problem when i try to print
Dear members
i used to work with ireport/jasperreports to genereate pdf reports
i am with a huge problem
our company use this printer machine
http://www.printerland.co.uk/acatalog/Epson_LX_300.html
so my app in the company can generate some report (create a pdf report)
and of course if somebody wants use the printer machine to print the report
it can be used
i have this problem, i think that the content in the PDF report is really an image
even if my report is all text
so when the company use the printer machine i must configure it to the maximum power
(240pin x ....) and put the print cartridge/tape very near to the paper
it consume highly the print cartridge/tape very fast
if i open other document, a simple txt or a xls file, well its print is very well
i no need change the configuration
so the question is
is there a way or an option in IReport to get or generate a pdf report
with the same features that xls,txt file in the sentide to print
without problems and with the minimun power of the printer machine
the pdf report??
thanks in advanced
