Thanks for the reminder (not that I'd forgotten or anything). Still in admin hell, but still only days away - we have never been closer.

There have been a couple of major API changes, so I updated the website today if anyone is interested in a preview (http://static.springframework.org/spring-batch/). The main difference is that there is now a "Core" and an "Execution" module (in place of the old "Container"). Core is pretty light, but that's a good thing - it is just the public API, and you can think of Execution as the reference implementation in some ways.
