Spring vs Seam

hi ,
We are working on to decide which is best framework Spring or Seam.
our application would be on jboss only.

After taking the decision , all our applications would be built on the framework.

We also want to know which is better -- JSF / Spring MVC / Spring Web flow / (JSF + Spring webflow)


Please help to decide which is better.

These questions have been answered recently, I suggest you use the search.

Also answering those questions without knowing certain constraints, requirements and the environment is hard. Which framework is better depends on your situation and the problems you try to solve.

If you are using JSF, it's easy....you *have* to use Seam

Start with Seam/JSF and then depending on yr requirements or how you want to design/work with your application you might want to introduce Spring. Spring and Seam have been integrated.

For "typical" applications (what's that?) Seam might be all you need. Especially if you are running on JBoss. Check the features or ask in the forum and decide.

I meant that you'd be crazy not to Developing in JSF without using Seam is preposterous.

Take a close look on ThinWire (www.trinwire.com) - absolutely different and quite interesting approach to web development.

And, sure you may use Spring with it for DI, AOP and so.
