    Default Spring remoting +acegi

    I'm using an applet as client and I want to use spring remoting (I didn't decide yet the type of protocol). I need to authenticate the user against an LDAP server with the standard username and password and I would like to use acegi.
    Is there some disadvantages in using Hessian/Burlap?
    Is it possible to have a complete example where remoting and acegi are used together?

    I'm sure there are already some examples of remoting and Acegi on the forum. Have you tried doing a search?
