documentation/changes for new ACL module

Hi,

does anybody know a documentation/ressource for the new ACL module or why the old module will be deprecated? When will the new module be the standard/production-ready?

when will Acegi 1.1 be released?

I am writing a diploma thesis on securing an existing web application based on Spring with Acegi and I would like to know which technology I can use and where to find documenation of the new module, since the reference documentation only covers the old module.

I have subscribed to the thing, but my low level of expertise in using mailing lists forces me to not know how to properly use this thing. Do I just send an e-mail with that content to the mail address?
