Default Tip: IDE 2.0 M2 enables a filter in the J2EE Project Explorer

I just wanted to pass on an observation that confused me for a bit after upgrading to Spring IDE 2.0 M2 (from spring IDE 1.3.6)

The eclipse J2EE Project Explorer will only show Spring projects after installing IDE 2.0 M2. In order to bring back the default J2EE behavior, you have to uncheck the Project Explorer filter called "Non-Spring projects".

I first saw this when I created a blank "Dynamic Web Project". Even though there were no errors, and no stack traces...the project just never appeared.

Hopefully this tip saves somebody else some headaches!

If this is the case, it is definitly not the desired behaviour. I created a ticket for that at http://springide.org/project/ticket/456.

    Thanks for spotting this.
