closing popup

Hi,

I am not sure whether this the place to lo this question. I am currently launching a popup wait window from a javascript on submit. In the back ground I am moving through different states while i await for a response from the back end. I would like to know whether it is possible to close the popup when i transition to the next stage when i load up the new window.

I'm pretty sure this is possible with some clever JavaScript stuff. Maybe try to post your question on a JavaScript forum somewhere on the net.
