Core libraries needed to start

Hi,
I want to learn spring...but its difficult to learn it in the office...since it is not possible to download the spring (30+MB) file..So what are the basic jar files needed to learn it....

For using the databases...is it sufficient if we have hsqldb...

The Spring download without dependencies is only 10 meg. In it you will find docs on exactly what other libraries you will need. Depends on what you intend to do of course.

Actually the problem lies in downloading the files at the office..so i asked for the jar files needed..
