In general our webservices are very fast (10- 30ms measured with a client). A loadtest shows that the first response takes about 800ms and after 10 fast responses again 800ms have been needed and so on. The internal server measure (in the servlet filter) is always fast.
Does somebody knows this effect?? Is the spring factory responsible for the bad performance?
We are using bea weblogic 8.1, spring 1.2.6, hibernate 3.1 and xfire 1.0 and sun j2ee 1.4.
