Spring User Group in Seattle - I'd like to start one
I'm wondering how I can go about starting a Spring user group in
Seattle. I'm already a member of the local SeaJUG. I've been totally obsessed with Spring since the 2006 No Fluff Just Stuff conference and have used it along with Spring LDAP at work. Spring2 has unlimited potential.

Hi all,
I have setup a new site for Spring User Groups at http://www.springusers.com. I'm hoping that this will become a central meeting place for people from different Spring User groups to meet and discuss ideas.
On the site is a registry of different Spring User Groups. If you see that yours is not listed please email admin [at] springusers.com with the details of your group and a contact person for the group and I will add the group to the registry.
Also, I started a LinkedIn Spring Users Group if anyone is interested in joining, here is the URL to join:

Thanks,
John Walsh

- Philadelphia Spring Users Group (USA)
- Spring Dallas User Group (USA)
- St. Louis Spring Users Group (USA)
- Boston Spring SIG -within NEJUG (USA)
- Spring User Group Toronto (CANADA)
- SOUTH AMERICA
- EUROPE
- Spring User Group Poland (POLAND)
- Spring Framework Italian Goup (ITALY)
- Swiss Spring User Group (SWITZERLAND)
- Spring User Group Nederland (NETHERLANDS)

Seen the huge adoption of Spring among developers throughout the world, still a lot to be done to have Spring Users Groups represent such popularity.
- Is it time for the Spring Community to come with practical ideas for the creation of new Spring User Groups?
- Is it time for SpringSource to come with a Spring User Groups program and more incentives to encourage such effort?
What are your thougths?
Thank you
Slim Baltagi
