When is Spring 1.3 Release - Portlet Support?

When would be spring 1.3 released ? I believe this would have portlet support and iam interested specifically in WebSphere Portal Server Support.

The Spring portlet support package can be downloaded from the Wiki which from my experience has become fairly stable. As far as my project is concerned, far more problems come from the evolving portlet containers themselves than those from the Spring portlet framework.

does any of the standard ide's like WSAD or RAD have support for developing portlets using Spring?

We are planning to do a project with Spring portlet - in which we would be using an ide like WSAD or RAD. If there is no for Spring Portlet it would be difficult.

Kindly let me know your thoughts on this.
