Question for Spring RMI connection
Here is my situation.
A web application needs connection to several nodes using RMI. In this web application all those RMI services are wired using RmiProxyFactoryBean.
1. when web application starts up, it will lookup all the RMI server. If Spring can not find out all the RMI servers, the web application will fail to startup.
Question: is it possible to do lazy-loading(or say lazy-wiring) for RMI looking up
2. when application needs to do RMI invocation, it will use the RMI client directly.
Question: is it possible to check the availability of RMI server before send out RMI call?

for my question 1, in RmiProxyFactoryBean set property "lookupStubOnStartup" to false.
Still struggling with question 2
